Ra Ra Boom - Level Selection Art Development

Today is a special day. I've done key art for game's marketing assets. I've done promotional art for a game's kickstarter. Heck I've even done art for a game's Nintendo Switch cover. But today is a special day because it marks the first game released with art of mine IN the game itself!

@playraraboom by @gyleegames releases today and I had the luck and opportunity to flex my diorama illustrating skills to turn its wonderfully vibrant post-apocalyptic world into a level select screen!

You can see the individual elements on the carrousel as well as some of the early explorations of how we could visualize this world. Fun fact we actually started production on a different look entirely, but we ended up scrapping the more detailed illustrated format for this more nostalgic and sticker-like look to better fit the aesthetics of the rest of the UI
