Haiku The Robot - Nintendo Switch Box Art

Following the development of Haiku the Robot and Jordan (AKA Mr. Morris) journey as a solo dev since the beginning, I helped promote its kickstarter campaign and made different doodles and illustrations of the game along the years. It was a delight then when he invited me to take a crack at the physical cover of the game, when he decided to partner with Super Rare for a limited run of a Switch version.

It all started with a big sketch exploration of different approaches, focuses and content for the cover: enemies, NPCs, locales, power-ups, conceptual ones...
