Leading up to Bananza, I was so Donkey Kong-pilled that I knew I had to do some DK art to contain all of my hype. Instead of doing a Bananza-specific piece, I figured I'd make a big piece celebrating all of DK's history: From the DK & Jr games on the arcade, to DKC 1-3, Country Returns & Tropical Freeze, through Mario vs DK and DK64, not forgetting tangential (but meaningful) appearances like Odyssey. I tried to cram a lot of little references to the leader of the bunch's historied history and if you've ever been a fan of this mule-ish ape, I hope you'll have as much fun combing through this piece as I had drawing it.
