Yoshi's Island Remake
A personal project inspired by both Paper Mario and Yoshi's Island unique look and start screen, envisioning what the latter could look like if remade today. All elements were traditionally watercolored, with extra texture added via colored pencils, scanned and then manipulated in 3D to recreate the original game's title screen

It all started with this illustration I did, mixing watercolor and colored pencils, and a lot of paper cut-out elements for the different characters of Yoshi's Island
I thought that it could be an interesting opportunity to paint every element individually, scan them and recreate the island digitally in 3D
